Proactive Acquisition using Bot on Discord

Data deletion increases challenges in cybercrime investigation. To address the problem, proactive forensics for evidentiary collection is acknowledged to help investigators acquire potentially needed digital evidence. This study proposes a bot machine record data from Discord server advance, hashing and saving it proper storage further forensic analysis. The recording process can be managed collect activities their related (intact, modified, deleted), including text, pictures, videos, audio. designed by utilizing main features of Social Networks Application Programming Interface (API). paper examines how this approach applicable embedding server. Observation showed that records real-time as always alive on server, deleted or modified messages timestamps. All recorded saved locally server’s easy-to-read formats, CSV JSON. results could conduct acquisition 37 concurrent users with 2.3% error rate 97.7% accuracy.
